It is just a great tool to help you reach your goals. PLUS, the best part is you make great friends.

Many people tend to look at these as "just another walking option" but I call this category these workouts my "secret weapon". The MINI workout is my "go to" workout ALOT throughout the day. Some days time just doesn’t allow me to get a full workout in, so I tend to do the following, wake up with a mile to get the blood moving, do my "short workout" regimen at work, and then wind down in the evening with a one mile power walk. Breaking up my workouts is just what works best for me when it is BUSY. That is why I am trying to direct you all to the Walk Tools because they will truly help out in a pinch!
The FULL Workouts are terrific, too, because it gives you a chance to try out one of our walks you may not have, kind of like a full length sneak preview without buying the workout itself. We LOVE providing you with streaming and we change the long workout monthly for you so it is always fresh for you.
Firming - Another great thing about Walk Tools is that it includes FIRMING. Many times we are so consumed with our cardio routines that we forget how important strength training is. A great reason why we have our FIRMING workout available to you. It is a nice workout for you to incorporate with your walking routine and such an important counterpart to your cardio workouts.
Stretch - Lastly, but certainly not least is the STRETCH! Who doesn’t like a good stretch? Especially at the end of a long day at the computer or desk, it can be so beneficial. I love ending my stressful days using this! It just seems to bring calmness about me since I am focusing more on lengthening my body. Try some of these out and let me know what you think. Calendar - Every month Leslie designs for YOU a personal “walk chart” to follow through the month. It is the best tool to ensure your success. Of course, you can modify this calendar, but we have one designed for you just in case. You can also print out a blank calendar to fill in with your favorite picks! Most importantly, the big question you need to ask is “When will I walk today”? Remember you can print and post these tools where ever they serve you best- computer, fridge, date book, etc.
Journal- What a great tool! If you aren’t using a notebook and want to log your activity or any other notes you find important to your success this is the place. It is neat, compact and no paper required! Just you logging in and entering your information. The most important thing is that you do journal, whether you use our journal tool or your own personal notebook. Remember, the Journal tool keeps track of your past activity and stores and logs it for you!
Chat Room- Every month we have a scheduled chat with our on staff Dietician, Toni! Additionally, we have guest walk leaders as well and an occasional surprise visit from Leslie herself. We want to provide you with expert information in a dialog situation just like you were having a chat one on one. The Chat room is also a great place for you and other board members to have informal discussions on motivating each other or just plain “WALK TALK”. Whatever your needs, the door to the chat room is always open for you. |
