Happy MARCH Walkers!!!

Do you know that you can really LIFT AWAY the POUNDS? It’s TRUE … lifting weights slims your body because conditioned muscles are lean, active and beautifully shaped! Conditioned muscles use more energy just to exist than de-conditioned muscle … yes, you need your WALKS for great health over a lifetime  …. but add strength training (Lift Weights) and you have the perfect combination of fitness methods to get to your healthy goals! This month, I have 3 “strength” sessions per week planned for us and I am sure at the end of this month … you will be convinced … LIFTING WEIGHTS WORKS for a healthy body!

LOVE the walk it off in 30 days. I started my 30 day challenge on February 18th.... just wondering if any one knows how many calories you burn during the 30 minute "burn" with 3 pound hand weights?

March 27 is my 48th birthday, and it's a day off!! Thanks for the birthday present! But if we finally have some nice weather by then here in Western New York I will perhaps take a walk outside :) Thank you so much for your dvds Leslie...I'm so glad I finally found a workout that I will stick with! I'm probably not up to your speed for March and so will be following my own plan using some of your DVDs - am excited to get back on the bandwagon! Thanks for the encouragement! I always feel like you are on the room walking with me!

Im soooo excited to continue these challenges... I lost 8lbs in the February challenge. In total I lost 14lbs just by walking with you and eating healthy. Thank you so much Leslie.

Question - if I do not have the DVDs that are in the list and use the minutes/steps as a guideline which days do I add weights or should I always add weights?

Tell us about it (your comment)Leslie, I have been walking 5 times a week with you for 6 years now. At this time I have 8 of your DVD's and I alternate them. I joined TOPS also 6 years ago and lost 35 pounds and you have helped me to keep it off. I am almost 72 years old.

Everytime I try to print out the month of walks, the advertisement for finding a Walk Leader appears over top of the exercise for some of the days. Anyway to get it off there or print it without that?

Super excited for the March walks! Last month was great! It makes getting up early so much easier when you're having fun. I've yet to make it through a dvd without at least a few smiles and giggles.

I started two weeks ago, I am very impress and encourage. i would like to do the March challenge just a little confused on how it works will follow on my own if I don't figure it out anyway. Thank you Leslie Sansone, after a horrible MVA I was left with four fractures in my neck ( C1 C2 C4 C5)and a fractured collard bone multiple fractures in my right hand. A bulged disc in my lower back needless today its been a long road to recovery I have put on so much weight and its is not helping the pain I endure daily. I have attempted many programs and have been to physical therapy acupuncture and diets nutritionists. I want to live a healthy I say all this just to say I know I am so blessed to be alive with my family and I want to thank you for providing a form that works where i won't be laid up in the bed for a day after a work out.

Leslie you've done it again! Today I did the Walk to the Hits Radio Remixes and all I can say is OMG! How much FUN is that work out?!?! I've been walking with you for a few years now and have several of your DVDs. All of them are fantastic but this one was soooooo much fun! I confess, exercise was a four letter word for me but you have made it so that it is enjoyable and easy to stick to a routine. Thanks for all you have done for me to get and stay healthy. Hi Leslie, I started walking with you a little over 2 years ago with a beginning walk called Walk Down Your Blood Sugar. I am a type 2 diabetic and got that DVD from a diabetes center. I had not exercised in a long time and really wasn't sure with the extra weight I had that I was safe to do so. At the time, I was running a 3-month average blood sugar of 8.6. When I started, I could barely do a half a mile. Today, I do 4 miles each day for 6 days a week. I actually did the Walk Slim: 5 Really Big Miles DVD for the first time last week. I couldn't believe I made it. Over the 2 years, I have lost 103 pounds, and my 3-month average blood sugar has gone down from 8.6 to 5.8. I can't tell you how thrilled I am with the progress, weight loss, and feelling like I have been given a chance of lessening diabetes related complications. Thank you for giving me something I could start with, move up safely, and stay with.

Tell us about it (your comment) I am 53 and I had a stroke at 49. Lost use of left side and was Blessed to be back to my normal life style 2 1/2 months. I have been doing the 30 day walk for 12 days and love it! I did start out with 1 lb hand weights and 3 lb dumbbells ! And will work my way up! The best thing is I can now raise my left leg as high as my right & can bring my left arm back all the way! And love all the high energy Walkers on the DVD!

I restated walking again in October of 2013, when the Dr told me I had diabetes 2 . I was extremely over weight, but because I am doing the walk at home program and on a diabetic diet and medicine. I am proud to announce that I am down 54lbs. I just want everyone to know that this is a great program.

Leslie, your walking videos are the best medicine in the world. I have been using them for many years. I had a terrible fall last July and literally broke my neck. The doctors say I am miracle. It has taken eight months to heal to the point where I am able to take off my neck brace and begin to move around. I was told to start exercising and I thought what better way, but to pop in some Leslie tapes. I just received four new ones and tried one out today. It is a great feeling to walk three miles and enjoy every moment. I am seventy one years old and plan to stay in shape with Leslie. Again I say....the best medicine.

Thank you soo much for the monthly planned workout. This is my first month, but I have been following your videos from last 2-3 months and I have been feeling amazing!!! Today was my 18th day.... I even workout on some of the 'days off' cause I love love love walking with you.... And I definitely 'feel good'

I just finished the firm 30 workout & I just want you (leslie) to know how much I appreciate this DVD (walk it off in 30). I've been using it in my weekly rotations since August 2013, and I'm so much leaner & toned now! The firm 30 segment is thee best strength training workout ever. I recommend this DVD to everyone!!

I love the Firm 30 workout! I've been doing it for the last 3 weeks and it's really making a difference in how I feel! and the pounds seem to be coming off more easily! For some reason I always thought I couldn't lift weights, or it just wasn't for me. Now I'm sorry I waited so long! Would love for you to make another weight lifting video so I can add it to my huge collection of walking videos! thanks!

I have been using your DVD's for about 14 years and probably own almost all of them. I have tried other forms of exercise and always come back to you. I LOVED the 30 Day Challenge!!! I just finished my first round and I am going to start over with heavier weights. I hope you offer more of this type in the future, especially the firm 30!! You are fantastic. Thank you for everything you do.
