HAPPPPYYY Healthy Friday Walkers!

This is DAY 7 of the Walk 21 Fitness Challenge!

When you have completed today’s 2 Mile assignment you will have done 19 Miles in 7 days!!!

That’s a lot of walkin’! In only 7 days of fitness walking: REAL CHANGES are happening!

You are burning stored fat and your muscles feel more toned!  Do you notice that you are making better choices at meal time too?

That’s the POWER of fitness walking and ONE HEALTHY CHOICE ALWAYS LEADS TO ANOTHER! (I love to yell happy words only … I don’t yell when I’m angry – I just walk faster!!!!)

So, we had a fantastic Day 1 thru Day 7  - now on to next week!

Here are your assignments for Day 8 thru 14:

Saturday, Feb. 25 – Day 8

5 Miles!

Sunday, Feb. 26 – Day 9

2 Miles + Pilates Ab Video!

Monday, Feb. 27 – Day 10

4 Miles!

Tuesday Feb. 28 – Day 11

3 Miles + Pilates Ab Video

Wednesday, Feb. 29 – Day 12

I am so tempted to LEAP over this day … no … we better Walk to celebrate it!

2 Miles!

Thursday, March 1 – Day 13

2 Miles + Pilates Ab Video!

Friday, March 2 – Day 14

3 Miles!

It’s going to be a strong week walkers, have fun with it! Watch for more videos popping into Walk Social all week!

I was wondering if you are going to be using some of your older videos, like from the "Walk Away The Pounds" and the "Walk Strong" DVDs . Some of those older videos are REALLY GOOD, and have some different moves in them. I think it waould be fun to see some of them posted as well.

A GREAT first week, Leslie! I actually put a pair of dress pants on this morning and couldn't wear them because they were way TOO BIG! OMW! (that's OH MY WORD!) I've been walking with you since mid-November. What an honour and a thrill it was to have you join us on Facebook for a live session! Can hardly wait for the next one! You're such a DOLL! Love you! I also am loving the challenges. Is there anything that I can substitute the Pilates Abs Video for? Is it available in the store? Which store? Please help me if possible. I have the You Can Do Pilates Video.....

I am so motivated by this challenge! I am fitter than I have been in a long time. Started with the Walk away the pounds VHS tapes last Feb. and have not stopped walking since. Found out about this website via my DVD 5 Really Big Miles (which I love, love, love!) Cannot say enough how motivating Leslie is! What a way to keep everyone walking! "I love to say I am a walker!"

Goodmorning Leslie! I absolutely love your tapes! I have other ones but your tapes are the ones I use the most. The 5 mile one was a killer for about 4 days but than no problem. I walk right through it now. Thankyou so much!! Have a great day.

Love walking with you and I am so challenged by the fitness challenge. Leslie, when are you going to have an App for the I- Pad? This would be a great idea and help me walk when I'm away from my DVD player!

I started using your DVD in January. I even started doing the 21 day challenge. I got a little too eager and had to slow down a bit. But did manage to do it for the 21 days. I have started the Feb. 21 day challenged. I love the 3 fast miles video. You do keep me motivated Leslie which has been a real challenge for me . I had a tragedy happen to my family. It can be hard to focus but your encouraging words keep me focused. Thanks

I love the plan. It's working out perfectly in my busy life. But tell me what is the Pilates Ab . Is this a certain DVD? I have looked for it and cannot find it. I do have the You can do Pilates dvd . Is this the one you are talking about. Please let us know before the Challenge is over. Course it will not be over for me as I plan on continueing it or a "REDO". Thanks Keep Walking those Winter Blues away.

Missed the start of this challenge, but I am not at all deterred. Jumped right in and did my 4 miles - will finish off this challenge & looking forward to the next one. Easy, effective workouts! Love them!!

I LOVE WALKING!!! Blessings to you! I am walking to your 3 mile Slim and Sleek Walk (Pilates version) and there is a song that I absolutely love in the beginning about 5- 6 minutes in. The words are "I give you love, you give me joy!" Who sings this? I found myself doing a boosted walk before you knew it! :) I want to purchase it on itunes but I did not know the artist or the official title of the song! Anyway...happy walking!!!! P.S. Leslie you are such an inspiration as are all of your walkers. I just really enjoy your Dvds! I especially like your words of wisdom and your enthusiasm and joy for life! Have you ever thought of writing a book on overall good health based on physical, mental and spiritual fitness. I just think all your little tidbits spread throughout your dvds would make a good book. I am sure you have some life experiences to throw in there too. Maybe even a memoir of sorts. You are a dynamic woman who has made such a positive difference in the lives of others. I think you should share how you come about it. This life has lots of challenges and yet you have moved through it beautifully and with grace. I just really see you as a mentor that could offer so much to those of us really desiring to learn a better way to live. Thank you for all you do and for encouraging us to be our best!!!!! Much love to you :) p.s I hope your read these posts as I still do not have a facebook acct. I know I know I need to get with the times...LOL
