A Duke University Medical Center study found that a brisk 30-minute walk or jog around a track three times a week is just as effective as antidepressant medication in relieving symptoms of major depression in middle-aged and elderly people. Another study proved that older women who walk regularly are less likely to develop memory loss. Better body, better health and a sharper mind… not bad!
