Good MONDAY Morning!
POSTED
May 16It’s a beautiful “rainy in the East” Monday morning in May!
When will you walk today my friends? What walks are you planning for the week? Be sure to “WRITE IT DOWN!” When you write your plans down, you are more likely to commit and do it! Don’t keep important things floating around in your head …. relieve your mind …. by writing it down! I felt “moved” to send that message today … hmmmm …. maybe I needed it! Ok … no more talking the talk …. I am off to walk the walk!
Happy Walking friends!

I walked first thing this morning! IT's the best time for me...otherwise, it ususally doesn't get done. I have been doing the March 3 mile with firm band or a 3 or 4 mile Super Walk! I always keep track of what I'm walking. Thanks Leslie for posting today...I was just thinking to myself this morning...I miss Leslie's posts! They keep me motivated!.
How nice to have fitness in your own home without the expense of a GYM and anytime you want it, and a great motivating walk leader like Leslie and her great team! :)
Hello Leslie,
Just wanted to say how much I love your walking program! My mom introduced me to one of your videos about a year ago and I was instantly "hooked". I wasn't new to exercise, but WAS getting a little tired of my treadmill routine. I now have a small collection of your DVD's and enjoy every one of them. I really like a challenge so I usually jog (or do "boosted walking") with two 3 lb. weights through the 3, 4 and 5 mile walks. Whew! What a workout! Thanks so much for all you do!
I've been doing your various walking programs since Walk Away the Pounds came out; I still have the original walk away belt (with new cord). I had my hips replaced in 2007 & couldn't wait to be able to walk with you and friends again. You are super and I'd love one day to meet you. I live in north Jersey. Maybe I'll take a vacation out by your studio. Inspiriing is what you are. God bless! Doris Corea
Hey there,I have several walking disks here at home of Leslies. But stuck on the five mile fat burning with the two minute boost at the end of each mile, its the best! I do it consistently 5x a week (believe it or not I do all five miles every morning). I Would like to see more of this type of five mile fat burning walks . My greatest request is for another five mile walking disk with two: two minute boosts added to each mile, understand that would be four minutes of boosting for each five mile walk(two-two minutes apiece for each mile). I Still have more than 150 pounds to lose, yes I said more than 150 pounds more to lose. And I do fine with the 2 minute boosts almost always. Occasionally my body may fill a little stressed somewhere and I make sure to leave out the boost, but that is almost never. So please, please, please, make another five mile with two sets of two minute boosts in each mile. I hope you will answer my request at cladue@carolina.rr.com.
I just started using your 3 mile walk dvd. I had a couple of questions. Does those belly belts really help? And for the fastest weight loss should I do it every day or give myself a break inbetween? Yesterday I started to rest for 2 days and I felt guilty so I did it anyways. I have about 50 lbs to lose and I'm want to lose them as fast as possible!!!
Hello, A friend of mine told me about your workout so I thought I would try it out. I have been walking outside or in our small mall for the past 7 years with a friend. It wasn't doing much for me at all so I decided to take another route! I asked my retired school teacher friend if she would like to come workout in my basement 3 times a week and she said yes!! We did one CD of yours for 2 weeks and I asked another friend from church if she would like to join us and she has ever since!! She is a cancer survivor and needs to keep moving!! I now have 2 CD's and we completed the Fast and Firm; 4 Really Big Miles today!! We did all 4 miles and cool down. I am almost 20 years younger than my friends so it is the perfect workout for them and it is great for me as well!! They are fun to do!! Thanks and keep them coming.
When is the best time to walk? I usually can only get them in when everyone is asleep late at night. And then go to bed. Am I working for nothing? I enjoy the walk at home series and have done two of them, 4 Fast Miles with "Boosted Walking" and Walk it Off & Tone it Up (5 miles with the bands). Thanks for getting me up and moving!!
