DAY 3!

Happy Wednesday Walkers!

In only 2 days you have already experienced the INSTANT RESULTS of feeling GOOD that you are doing something GOOD for your life!  Now in the next few days, you may start to feel (and see) results you can measure.  A little more room in your clothes perhaps? It does happen as soon as 3 or 4 days of fitness walking, especially if you are new to a regular routine!  You can expect a lot from fitness walking … and soon you’ll see that Walk delivers!

Today’s Assignment

3 Mile Walk – Do all 3 at once or break it up and do 1 Mile in the Morning – 1 Mile Mid day – 1 Mile in the Evening!

No matter what style of walking you choose, you’ll put in about 45 mins. of exercise.  This can be enough of a calorie burn to walk off the calories of a meal. What a big burn! Try your best at meals too.  To “out eat” all that beautiful walking, oh, that would be a shame!  I love good food just like most humans, but I remind myself, it FEELS SO GOOD to lighten up.  I just don’t need that extra bite ….. (As I look at our last Reese Cup from Halloween …. LOL … actually it was those darn Butterfinger’s that got me this year!  No worries … they were the fun size!)

EAT Smart & WALK Strong today my friends!  Hmmmm … where have I heard this before? (smile)

Check out this short demo of Boosted Walking!

For this week….

  • Tuesday 1 Mile plus Upper Body Firming
  • Wednesday 3 Miles
  • Thursday 1 Mile plus Upper Body Firming
  • Friday 3 Miles
  • Saturday 1 Mile plus Upper Body Firming
  • Sunday DAY OFF – no structured activity, but let us know what you are doing on Facebook!

Good morning again Leslie and WAH's! I did the 3 mile super walk with mile two using body cables. Incredible. I can already feel my upper body getting more toned..and my thighs...let's just can I can feel the burn (smile). There is something to be said for participating in this challenge with so many other walkers! It really does give you the motivation and inspiration to keep walking and do more than you thought you could ever do! God bless! Bethany

you're right Bethany and Leslie. I feel changes too, after doing the warm up last week (2 miles a day) and only 2 days of the challenge- I fit into a pair of pants I have't worn in months because they were too tight. I'm looking forward to more great changes. Bring it on!:)

Way to go gals! I can tell you're really committed to this challenge - so many benefits to be had from it and they can happen so quickly!! I'll be doing 2 miles in just a few minutes and another 3 miler tonight - isnt it awesome to think that no matter what time of the day or night we decide to do our walk, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE is walking right along with us?! I love knowing that there are hundreds of us walking with Leslie for our best health and fitness! With so many walkers in this challenge its no wonder our motivation, inspiration, and determination is so high AND its FUN!!!!!!

It feels good to be on Day 3 of my 21-day pre-holiday challenge with Leslie Sansone. This morning I did the 3 mile Walk Away Your Waist dvd. I've been adding a mini-mile super walk in the afternoons. Those of you using the booster cables ~ Wow, are they powerful or what?! I used the 3-mile super walk with booster cables yesterday to get in that upper body workout. I can really feel how that is working my body for hours after a workout.

Got up at my 5 am alarm and did the 3 mile Sleek & Slim Pilates workout. I have not done this for a while and it was really fun to mix up some moves. In fact I can see where I'll be dusting off quite a few of my dvds this month. Workout #3 - done! Yay.

Day 3 and still going strong. Could have been a bad start to the day because I forgot to set my alarm for this morning, so the morning was a mad dash to get everyone up & off to school (we made it in the nick of time!). But I still managed to get my walk in, 4 miles from the walk slim dvd and I'm so glad I stayed on track, despite the minor catastophe of waking up late, lol. Feeling great! Keep up the awesome work everyone! Thanks Leslie!

I have a weakness for oreo cookies so I don't buy them. The girl up front has so much bad stuff, ie., cookies, candies, chips etc so I stay away from her desk. I am not a big candy fan and that works in my favor here. Walk on people! :)

Day 3 and still motivated! Bad news I gained 3.5lbs! Very frustrating. Right now main goal is to SUCCESSFULLY complete the 21 day challenge! Weight loss secondary goal because I love food too much! Let's see, today I dusted off Leslie's Start Walking DVD I purchased Feb. 10 and actually completed the 1 mile beginner walk with Leslie! What an inspiring DVD! Leslie, I love your DVD!! Your 21 day challenge encouraged me to walk the 20 min beginner's walk! Love the steps and your positive instruction! God Bless The last 2 miles of today's goal I spent on my treadmill. It's my personal time for prayer and enjoying the workout! Most exciting of all: My sister & I spent 20 min. exercising again. I may have gained weight but I FEEL GOOD! God Bless You Leslie!

I already have a lot of your Dvd's and love them. I did buy the 21 day challenge package. I like to exercise in the morning after my bus run. Although I was off yesterday and other things to do in the morning I did not exercise til 3pm. Even though I was tired it gave a a great boost of energy. Thank you and I love your chats. Debbie

I find that Yoplait Delights (100 calories) satisfies my craving for "dessert" like nothing else. Love it! Today, I'm going to walk to my local 7-11 (exactly a 2-mile round trip per my car's odometer), get a nice cup of joe, and then choose one of my collection of Leslie's DVD's to finish out the challenge for today. Hmmm....how about one of the DVD's with boost cables?

Hi Walkers, It is lovely to see all this people walking together. Keeps me motivated. I am walking for three weeks with Leslie and I want to tell you that previously I had some heart stings. I started about 3 moths agao to watch how much I eat too and also small walks ( walked for two and a half bus station). After three months of walking by myself and with Leslie I can tell you that I am 15 kg off, I am not getting tired imediatelly and the heart stings vanished. So guys, Leslie is right, walking is very good for our health. In what concern the challange: I did three miles Superwalk with weights and 40 Abs will follow :)

Hi Leslie! It's Jodi from Jodi's Walking Crew on FB. I love the streaming videos this month! Fast fast fast! I have been walking with you since Janurary and I am 60+ lbs down! I have a suggestion, would love to see 3 miles in 30 mins, basically jogging the whole time...or mix the two fastest miles from 5 advanced miles + mile 2&3 from 4 big miles, maybe stream that one next Month or release it on DVD. I often repeat the miles in order to get 4 in! Just a few suggestions! I LOVE the iWalk! The music is GREAT! My Crew and I walk to you every day and post all about it on my page too.....thanks Leslie!

No walk for me today!:( My daughter is sick so I am running on about 2 hours of sleep. So I am planning on doing 4 miles and upper arms tomorrow! Felt bad that I did not walk, but I know my limits also. Please let me know what are your snacks during the day. I sure could use some different ideas! Thanks

I did the 5K Twist tonight for my 3 miles :0) Like to say I love seeing this blog and the boards and facebook so active for this challenge! Everybody is doing great and I'm really impressed with all of the early morning walkers! Personally....I'm not into getting up early before my 10hr work day for a walk but I LOVE walking off the stress of that day when I get home. Walking with Leslie always puts a smile on my face and the walk always takes my worries away! Thank You Leslie!

Third day down. Walked 3 miles using the weights this morning before work. Just plain walked this afternoon. Going the do the other 3 miles on Walk Away the Pounds and then pop in the 5 Day slim down and hit a few real trouble areas like trim your tummy and sculpt you arms. Does anyone know the best of Leslie's dvd's to use to widdle away your middle?

I decided to try the challenge and just signed up for the Walk Club. I really enjoyed the iWalk 3 Miles. It is great not to have to decide which of my DVD's I feel like doing. I love it that Leslie has our miles all figured out for us. I am hoping to lose some weight. My goal is to get 20 lbs off by April.

Good Morning to All, I just did the 1 mile and upper body for today. Feel like doing 2 extra miles, but I wait until later on in the day. Got to love it... I am totally Boost this morning!!!

I love the inspiration this challenge has given to me! On Monday, I did the 3 Mile super walk with body boost cables; Tuesday, I did the walk slim series 3 fast miles; and on Wednesdy, I did WATP Express 3 mile walk with the toning band. Today, I think I am going to do the 3 mile walk away your waistline with walk belt or I may do a 2 mile dvd and then a 1 mile. Throughout the day, I have been sneaking in extra steps. I am loving watching the steps and miles add up while also working on my upper body! Thank you Leslie Sansone- you are the best personal trainer.

Let’s hear from you!
