Happy Blessed Sunday! Weather is beautiful here and I just enjoyed putting my hands in some dirt to plant a couple of mums. Enjoying the fresh air and beautiful fall colors today!

As I mentioned last Sunday, walking does refresh me! So I continue to walk even on the "rest days." I walked 6 miles using your videos (2 miles and 4 miles done separately). I'm taking it easy for the rest of the day and I'll be going shopping with my mom this afternoon. The weather is beautiful here in Southeastern VA! :)

Looking forward to the chat..HOPEFULLY I will be there this week! Even tho' it's Sunday..my husband is being a "couch potato" with his football...and now that I'm back from running errands...I'm going to do 4 miles! I did the SUPER MILE yesterday with the cables - then all the strength training with my resistance bands!! Wow..what a work out! Start with my personal training sessions 3x a week tomorrow morning at 9am! eeek! ;)

Great sermon today at church!! What a way to put my mind and soul by His word and my body for walking! Taking the day off hubby is sick so think I will just curl up read a book and wait on him! He deserves it! Hate that he is sick! I am so ready for this coming up week!

What does the week ahead look like for the challenge? I have not been able to find the calendar on the site, though I have seen it mentioned on the blog. I've been participating every day and loving it! Even though today is a day of rest, i am going to do the Upper Body and Lower Body toning while watching TV tonight since I did not get to it yesterday. Walk At Home-ers -- which DVD would you recommend for older adults? My dad is 82 and my mom 73 and I think they'd really benefit from a Walk At Home workout -- maybe one or two miles that are not so fast paced. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Enjoying my day of rest. It is a rainy day here so I'm staying in and getting household chores done..ironing, laundry, cleaning & cooking. Can't wait for this weeks challenge. Hope everyone has a blessed day!

Hi, I walked with the bootcamp for 1 m and did my lunges and upper strength. Tomorrow I have jury duty @ 8 a.m. I hope everyone has a blessed Sunday afternoon. Hi Mary, their is the "walk your blood sugar down" that I use sometimes.

Mary: Some gentle one and two mile walks are "Walk With Me," "The Evening Mile Plus Legs," and "Nutrisystem Silver Walk." You can find them on Amazon or eBay. "The In-Home Walking One Mile Walk" is also excellent and it's sold here on Leslie's website. :)

Evenng all! What a Blessed Sunday its been for me as well! Its my day of TOTAL rest today and I so enjoyed it with hubby - also spent some great time with our daughter and our youngest grandson Lucas most of this afternoon. Saturday was a super busy day - did the Burn Body Fat workouts 1, 2 and 3 milers as well as worked out in the yards and cleaning up the final remnants of the gardens, then spent the evening watching the 3 other grandkids! Looking forward to whats to come this 3rd week of our challenge!

I'm so thankful for the challenge. Thank you Leslie! I had a very busy jam-packed week and probably would have excused away working out this last week. Instead, I set the alarm early and did the workout all 6 days. Thanks again for pushing us to make walking and working out a priority. I feel so good!!!

Mary - you must be a Walk Club member. Log in and click on the calendar tab. If you aren't a member, you should join. It is sooo worth it. You get to try new workouts each month online. I have purchased several DVDs by first trying them.

I thought today was going to be a "rest" day for me but it didn't happen. I was waiting for my daughter's scrimmage to start, had a few minutes, saw the track and walked around the track twice. Not bad.

I LOVE SUNDAYS!!!!!! :) It is my day for a spiritual, and emtional re-charge. I attend church and exercise my mind with spiritual things. I find it helps me prepare myself for the week ahead and it does give my muscles a chance to recover from all the waling during the week. I also spend quality time with my family.

Let’s hear from you!
